Wes, don't forget that my car had an EASY 60 pounds more than yours did. I had 2 child seats, an air compressor, umbrella, and other miscellaneous junk in my trunk. Couple that with the fact that I had an extra spare tire (the one around my waist). I'm weighing in at 210, I bet you're not 160 soaking wet. That makes 100 lbs my mods had to make up for.

Anyone know what dropping 100lbs. would do to my run time?

LOL, "umbrella". Make sure you vacuum your car and pee before next time too. LOL. If anything that extra weight probably helped you on your launch.
I bet on dyno day when you guys weigh in, dabombs AT weight will narrow that 100lbs difference.

 

a 100 pounds wont do anything. from what i hear and read you have to drop 200lbs before you gain a tenth of a sec. so if you ran a 14.568 and you dropped 200 lbs then you prolly be around 14.4 somewhere, if you did everything the exact same as the 14.568 run.

if anyone has more info on this please share. this is just info that i have read, so i can garuantee any of this info.

Sorry todd, we didnt make it over to the weighing so u have no proof of this absurd alligation...plus u barely ate anything all day so that gives me back at least 35lbs

Oh and just because I have friends and sponsers who happen to like my car.... oh wait, I don't even have to defend myself. It's self explanatory.
The skinny on the weight thingy.... I don't remeber who said about the 200lb thing, but they were right est 200lbs = 1/10sec off. But only if you do the same thing the next time. However, who ever drives the same way unless they do it for a living, so our results would be very complicated to measure. Neff, congrats on the win, thats a good time. Wish I could have joined you guys...
