When I spoke with Nero he told me that they love to tune cars, but typically they don't do that on dyno days. He said that there will be someone there to talk with us about tuning, and what they can/can't do. Previously Brad at TMS told me that their shop rate was $75.00/hour, so I'm guessing that's what you'll pay for tuning.

The current list looks like this...

ok, so i get the idea that we need to have girls making out at the end of the video.... all movies and shows should have this...but anyway, who wants to do the actual footage, i will do it if i can get a video camera to be lent to me. Ok good deal maybe i'll drop by a day or two before the dyno and have it tuned. Oh and I'm a guy, you'll be surprised by the driver more than likely and for the record I had no help on this one lol. What can i say i love the car. I have a camcorder and digital camera if that helps at all but the camcroder is MiniDv so it's not cutting edge. I think your pal Best Buy has better.

Oh yeah, I've read that having the A/C and other accessories off is a good thing when dyno-ing. Also, turning off VDC was another recommendation. Anyone know of anything else?

"having the vdc off is a good thing" your won't dyno without it off. the rear wheels will sense the initial slip on the test rolls and the revs will get all f-ed up. You need the traction off in order to get out of first gear.

I have one of the older MIniDv camcorders as well that I can bring that someone can shoot with (my photo skills are not that good).

 

Any chance this will run into sunday with all the people getting dynoed? Can't make it saturday .

 

I don't think so. So far we've only got eleven people. I'd imagine that it will take around 4-6 hours to get everyone taken care of. If we start at 9am I'm pretty sure we'd be done by well before 3 o'clock. If you can get another dozen or so people interested, then maybe...
