I drove the 6MT with the syncro rev match about a month ago, it worked fairly well and is a must if you havent learned to heel-toe yet. Out of habit i had a hard time remembering to let the car rev match for me, but buy the end of the drive i had it down.
yeah, I wish i could make it. My car is not feeling well right now. It needs a new fender and new bumper. But my Nismo front just came in today. I wish she was in good enough shape to come down there.

nice to meet ya. I would love down for the meet, but i work 3rds and sleep during then. Maybe soon i will be on days and can join yall(with a new 370z).

yea i test drove a 370z 6spd with the sport package that had the rev match.

i actually liked it. i could of done the same with my own two feet, but the big benefit is that it allows you to focus on actually steering the car rather than smoothly getting it into gear.

Well technically its bad practice to downshift mid turn or during any significant steering, but i know what you mean about being able to concentrate on other things.

I dont know if you are joking (because you already know), but it sounds like several local people could show you. Lots of practice turns into second nature.

oh dont get me wrong, i loved rev matching during spirited driving with my specV i previously owned. Its just the simplicity of the revmatch feature that draws me to it.

hey everybody in TN wake upp
*Official Burgers-N-Cream Meet - Saturday Nights*
This started from the 9th & Commerce thread, so I just wanted to make a new thread for it. I'm hosting a meet here at BNC this Saturday November 22nd starting at 6:30 P.M. I have an entire back lot that has not been leased yet, so depending on how many people show up we can all park back there.

Our menu can be found here:

www.Burgersncream.com

BNC is located right off of Cool Springs Blvd. If you are coming from Nashville, take I-65 S, and go west (right) on Cool Springs. You will pass 2 stoplights. There will be a PF Chang's on your right. You can't miss it; it's got 2 big horses in front. BNC is the very next shopping complex on the right. We are facing Moe's Southwest Grill. Here is the address:

Burgers-N-Cream
401 Cool Springs Blvd.
Franklin, TN 37067

I can hold meets here whenever you guys want - weekly, monthly, etc. Suggestions of day and time would be great.

I hope to see everyone out here.

-EDIT-

This meet is now officially every Saturday night starting at 6:30pm. Kitchen closes at 9p.m., but you guys are welcome to hang out as long as you want. Please act mature out here i.e. no burnouts or drifting in the parking lot.
