I'm 95% in. I'll know tomorrow. I'm planning on hitting a Publix when I get in town so I'll pick up a couple 12 packs of soda when I get my meat.

Re: The Official: "First Annual Central FL G-Out" Thread

Driven is from Tampa and we are coming and have already signed up for what we will bring: 60 plastic plates, 64 plastic spoons, forks and knives, 50 large solo plastic cups, 4 containers of potato salad from Publix, 200 napkins, 2 rolls paper towels, extra hamburgers and hot dogs, 24 cupcakes, large cookie tray, chopped and sliced onions, velvetta chesse, two squirt bottles of mustard, 1 bottle of mustard relish and 1 case Zephyrhills water bottles. We are ready for a picnic and a G35 meet. We will be leaving Tampa around 7;30am (I think).

Re: The Official: "First Annual Central FL G-Out" Thread

The G-Out summary post… Well I was the first one there (with Dabomb in tow) at 9am and the first one to leave at 3:30. My 2 girls were both sound asleep before we left the Wekiwa Springs Parking Lot.

I’d like to say thanks to everyone who showed up and made today so much fun. I'm sorry things with the A/C and volley ball turned out to be incorrect (only told you guys what I was told) but I plan on seeing what they can do about a partial refund.

Anyway, I hope you guys post some pic's real soon,

Now if I only had a digital camera... My next-door neighbor has a Ferrari, F355 spider in his garage; the neighbor next to him has a crazy modded Z06. If I only had a digital camera I'd have the neighbors pull up next to my freshly Zainoed G35 and pose for a photo opp. Coming home and seeing that Ferrari was a great way to end a fun day.

Thanks again to Russ and Driven for making the long trip and to the rest of you guys and your families for coming out. I can't wait until the 2nd annual G-IN takes place, hopefully sponsored by Seagram’s GIN!!!

Also, someone (maybe Wes) asked me about the jack stand and jack locations. Here's a thread that shows where to place the jack and jackstands.

Here's another thread on FA where Redwillow shows the type of pads that you can buy to fit into the jack. Scroll down to the post made by Redwillow and then look for the other posts made by Baitfish and afr0puff and you will have your answer. Also, there is an actual picture of the part where you place your jack with a circle around the part to clear up any confusion. Please read the entire thread to make sure everything is clear...

<font color=blue>The above statements are only my take on the issue. If you disagree with anything I typed then you are 100% right!</font color=blue>

Re: The Official: "First Annual Central FL G-Out" Thread

Great meet guys...was a lot of fun...Dennis, Ian and me were last ones out at about 5:30.
We got 7 of the cars lined up and went crazy with pics...unfortunatley the "black black grey black grey black white" line was missing a red but we waited too long to get it setup.

Will post my pics tomorrow...

Driven has a bunch of pics, it will take him a while to get home to post them I suspect.

My wife and Jann had a real fun time, glad to see everyone there!!

Orlando, Jax, Tampa all represented. Very nice.

Next month sounds like a Jax meet. Tampa in September.

Russ, thanks for the cards and stickers!!

Had a great time today, it was well worth the drive.

Thanks to Todd for "hosting" and funding the pavillion.

I'm glad you all liked the cards and stickers. They should help increase the Central Florida G family. I'll definitely hook up with you guys, and girl, the next time I'm down there.

Hey everbody. I put the pictures out at http://homepage.mac.com/daviddawley/PhotoAlbum5.html and http://homepage.mac.com/daviddawley/PhotoAlbum4.html.

They are kind of out of order, but I got all the pictures I took out there.

We had a great time. We will see y'all again!

Re: The Official: "First Annual Central FL G-Out" Thread

Damn, y'all started looking for the pictures quick. It took us about 2 hours to get beack. I posted the picutres out on my .mac site. I cannnot access g35driver.com on my powerbook for some reason. Something about whatever in my environment the site is set up in. I sent myself an email to my Windows to post the links here. I think we got back around 1900 (7 p.m.) and I had the pictures up by 2100 (9 p.m.). I just did not get around to post the link until now.

Look forward to seeing y'all again.

Dave & Linda (Driven and Mrs. Driven)

Re: The Official: "First Annual Central FL G-Out" Thread

OK guys...I just got back from the Z meet and well lets just say im very disappointed in the G drivers we plan for 2+ months and get 8 of our 12/15 or so hardcore people which isnt bad but then I goto the Z meet which was just mentioned a week or so ago and about 15+ Zs and 4 Gs are there....

ok, im just raggin...but they are having another one 2weeks from today at 10pm again (6/24) for any of those orlando people (or out of towners) who may want to see a lot of nice rims and setups.

Anyways, to give you an idea...We started in a publix parking lot and pratically filled it up then decided to drive East on SR-50 a few blocks to a huge car gathering but the cops were breaking that up right as we got there so we drove further east to Bennigans but attracted ALOT of company and the cops followed us there and blared syrons to scatter but us members of the $30,000+ club walked into Bennigans had a round of beer and the cops chased everyone away from our cars for us.
In two weeks they are just going to stay at publix because the cops rolled through 3 or 4 times and didnt care that we were there.

OK, off to bed...i'll post pics tomorrow when i wakeup (3 or 4pm)

Re: The Official: "First Annual Central FL G-Out" Thread

I had a great time at Wekita Springs. It was great seeing everyone again. And to David (& Linda) and Russ (& his family), thanks for coming so far away to join us. Hopefully next time, more jax and the rest of the tampa crew will come (or we'll go there). Looking forward to next meet when I get back from the far east.

As for the Z meet, Wes. That was crazy. It was cool meeting up with Matt and meeting the rest of the Z crew and seeing everyones' cars (lots of different wheels on lowered Z's) When we caravaned on colonial and pulled in to that "other" car gathering next to Denny's, I felt like we just drove up on the set of fast and furious 3 or something. It was funny that they all tried following us to bennigans.
