I'm set up to do a dyno run moday morning if anyone else is interested (local Jax shop, dyna tune on Lem Turner). I want to dyno before my plenum upgrade and after, see what the real deal is or at least find out what the p/c, z-tube and grounding did. While I was at it I was going to inquire about a group thing. Maybe next months meet ? Do a saturday dyno day for a change of pace ? Then go to hooters. What about it ?

 

Get some info. I wanted to do the one in Orlando but I had other plans that day.

Here's the details,

They'll need at least 9 people to commit to doing a Saturday run ( they're not normally open ) and no more than 10 total to get everyone done in one day. They use a Clayton chassis dyno not a dyno jet accelerometer, the biggest difference is they can load the car to give a more accurate reading. Wide band won't be used because the pick-up connects ( I think he said ) to the O2 sensor and it would take too much time to hook and unhook everyone. If you run individually like I am on monday they will hook it up. They are running at least 3 pulls/car and are charging 75.00/person, normal price is 95.00.
I thought this would make a cool meet especially for those of us that wanted to do the TMS event and couldn't make it. Any other questions I'd be glad to forward them to Jimmie up at Dyno tune or if anyone would like to call on their own, his # is 768-0204. If we can't get enough G's out maybe the local 350's would join up?

 

O.k. , pretty much zero interest in that idea. Boy, that'll learn me good.
