Actually this is a "non-authorized" meet and it is no way affiliated with the Florida G35 Club! This meet is basically a SFL meet where a bunch of people are getting together for fun and to talk about the future of a club that hasn't even started yet. (Remember the FGC memberships begin March 5th 2005 and go through March 4th 2006.)

Since the club presently has no liability insurance, and since I won't be there to oversee the activities this meet CANNOT be affiliated with the Florida G35 Club in any way. There can be people who have paid membership dues in attendance, but I need to keep this and other SFL and NFL events separate from the FGC until AFTER March 5th.

If something bad were to happen, I don't want to be held responsible. Therefore I've asked Finiti to keep the details of this meet in the SE Forum.

Once the BOD in SFL is elected into office, all SFL meets will be put in the FGC Calendar and will be posted in the FGC forum. These and other meets will be "official FGC events".

I hope you understand. I potentially have a lot to lose both personally and financially if this meet is affiliated with the FGC, WHICH IT IS NOT!

All in good time my friend, I promise. Many good things are happening and many more will continue to happen.

Some of you, specifically the non-lawyers , dont understand why it has to be like this. I know many of our orlando meet threads have been in the FGC forum (probably incorrectly) but even those are NOT FGC meets. We have been having those weekly meets for a year now. Today was an OZOC meet and friday was just a group of guys gettin together. I'll ask Todd to make sure they stay in the SE section from now until March 5th just to not mislead anyone or act like we are getting special treatment.

Also, for everyone that is in Boca and North of Glades road, we will be meeting at Town Center Mall around 11:30-11:45 and will cruize down to the meet on the turnpike and meet up with the FLL, Miami people at the park.
