Definitely focus on March 5th. Also, why don't you get someone's cell phone #. Often times these meets get really fun and don't end up ending when they're planned. I could easily see 4 or more people going out for a bite to eat for dinner, or something along those lines afterward. You might want to join them...

Yeah, you can call me anytime and I'll let you know what's going on. Although if we have a BBQ I doubt anyone will be going out for dinner but if the BBQ plan falls through I'll bring that up. There's only 3 of us that have committed to bringing food to the meet so far, so I don't know.

 

I wouldn't just drop the BBQ idea. Everybody should just bring what they want to eat and a little extra if they want to share. That way, people won't feel pressured to bring 10lbs of meat etc. Good items for shareing are home made cookies and cupcakes .

You would only then need to have a few people agree to bring essentials like charcole, bbq utensils, condiments etc.

 

I'll bring the mayo!! (sorry inside joke)

we can do another thing like a couple of us buy all the stuff and charge 5 bucks for whoever wants to eat and then if ther is any money left donate to the club !!

What club are you talking about? This is not a "club" sanctioned event.

Hence the reason all posts related to G35 meets were removed from the FGC EVENTS forum earlier today.

The First FGC Meet will be on March 5th. The same day the "club" starts!
