Exclamation Anyone know any good campsites in and around So Cal???

What's up guys...me and my friends are planning on going camping soon. We are trying to look for good campsites. We always seem to end up going to Lake Hemet in the Riverside area. Reason being is that they have a lake, fishing, clean campsites, and is close to home (O.C.). This year we are trying to plan to go to a different site if possible.

Here are just a couple things we prefer:
-lake/fishing (with boat rentals)
-clean campsite
-a local store nearby, just incase we need extra supplies
-close to home. (we all live in and around the orange county area) so preferably less than 2 hours if possible away.

Any recommendations? Thanks in advance!!!!!

Castaic and Pyramid might be a stretch on a holiday weekend with the traffic. Might be something up in the Idylwylld area in the mountains south of the Palm Springs area.

If you went camping and you got butt raped in your sleep would you tell anyone?

If the answer is no, would you like to go camping with me?
