Exclamation Ticket for Window Tints...Please help

I got a speeding ticket recently ticket recently as most of you know already. Well a couple days ago I recieved a fix it ticket in the mail for my front tints. The cop didnt even have the decency to tell me about it when he pulled me over. I really dont want to Take my titnts off because they look good and I park outside to it keeps the car cooling.

Option 1: A cop lives next door to me. He is a nice guy and Im hoping he would sign it off. However he is not CHP; does he have the authority to do this? And if he does sign it off and I get pulled over for tints in the future then what happens to me? I heard its a lot bigger deal for failure to comply.

Lastly, what happens if my neighbor cant sign it off and I put the tints back on afterwards? What can happen? Thankyou all in advance!

yes...any police officer can sign it off...a chp gave me a tint ticket and i had my buddy who's a cop in san fran sign it off....see if he'll be cool and just sign it off without you taking off your tint. and if you get another ticket in the future, it's only a fix it ticket. your first ticket has no bearing on the second or third one.

if your buddy cop can't or doesnt want to sign just take of the tint and get it redone. Its really not a big deal or even a little deal if you get pulled over again.

I knew someone was going to say that. They dont bother me that much although it does look better w/o them. So Im just gonna wait until I get new wheels until I take them off.

They gave you a ticket for the front windows? They don't even look that dark at all. Thats very shocking and suprising to me.

Any cop can sign it.....but if he did not tell you about it, then your sig is not on the ticket, right?

If your sig is not there, and the cop did not write "refused to sign"(which by the way they would have arrested you for), then the ticket is not valid. I might consider contesting it if you did not sign the fix it ticket.

It says "owners responsibililty" where the signature would go.

haha this is funny because i just did this like 5 days ago, i went to the harbor justice center in Laguna hills, i dont know where you have to go but i didnt want to take mine off either and the fine is $84 all together, i think thats worth it because if you take it off that costs money and if you want to put it back on thats even more so i think this is the best route. also, if you do get pulled over again, its not more its just the same price. the only thing is its a differnt price in differnt areas of cali, i went to san diego in a differnt car and it was $115 to pay the fine so as far as i know in OC its $84. hope that helps

if that back house is your house, you definitly have the money to remove it and get the ticket sign and redo the tint again. Nice house. look like you have a nice view too.
