i didnt even do my 15k service. im at 22K right now. all they do is check everything, rotate tires change cabin filter, air filter. i got new rims so i didnt need a tire rotation and changed the filters myself, even my service manager said if you can do everything yourself save yourself $250.

thanks for the info Ljn! I go to Performance Nissan to get my oil change done.

Synthetic runs you 59.99 - $10 Coupon from Castrol = $49.99 I beleive.

I'll be nearing the 15K interval in about 4-5 months. I'm definately going to ask them in details what they'll include in the 15K interval.

thanks again!

Do it yourself, or take it to an independant shop.

My shop is located like 15mins away from Performance Nissan, I'll do all the same work for you for less. I only use OEM parts, unless the customer wants to use something else.

I just called your shop and got quoted $135. That's hella good but do you guys do the exact same thing as the dealer would? Meaning changing the in-cabin filter, oil filter, etc...?

Infiniti of Mission Viejo
3,500 miles (oil/filter/fluids) $41.84

Havent got to others yet. But i was given a sedan every time they checked out my rattles or any issues that i had, thats a nice plus.

Few days after my oil change i got a call from customer service checking if everything went ok and if i was satisfied with service, kinda nice.

I'm planning on taking mine in for the 15k service around the end of the month, but since I'm doing the oil change and microfilter myself, all they'll basically have to do are the inspections.

Yes, I do everything exactly as the dealer does it. My head tech has 20yrs dealer experience. The in-cabin filter is changed every 30k, not 15k. The price of $135 you were quoted was for a 15k.

I like to leave the in-cabin filter as an optional part. Since it costs about $50. When I went to change mine, the thing still looked brand spanking new, so I decided not to change mine. Granted I only drove 30k in about a year. The in-cabin filter is not a mileage wear item, more so a time wear item. Meaning after 3yrs, it should be pretty dirty to change it. But if you drive a lot and hit 30k quickly, your filter still may be clean and not absolutely necessary to change. So I put that extra $50 back into my pocket rather than spending it on something that I didn't need.

FYI, for AT you change the tranny fluid as well at 15k. For manual transmissions you change the fluid at 30k.

Oil Changes (3,500m service) I do for $29.99 which includes standard oil and OEM Nissan oil filter. For Mobil 1 synthetic oil +$35.99

Oh, and if you guys want me to call you and bug you a few days later and ask you stupid questions, I can write that down on your reciept and I will make it happen

I've decided just to use this coupon at Performance Nissan, buy the K&N drop in filter and the in-cabin filter as my 15k mile service.
