Yea, near the Mexicali border, special insurance...it's called:

"Run or else we'll charge YOU for your mistakes" policy.

I am not saying he was illegal. To me, it looked like a small work truck that alot of home gardeners have, although I did not see any tools on the road from the impact. It appeared in poor repair as it had only 1 working headlight. I could not see much else. My guess is he was drunk, because I was moving pretty good, and to be going so fast with a turn coming up and not see me was pretty odd. I could not believe I got hit there. Would be different if I was slamming on my brakes as traffic slows, but I did not even touch my brakes that I recall, just let off the gas as the turn approached.

Anyone think it could go under UM insurance because I have witnesses? I know I can claim BI, but my back is back to normal, and I dont mess with insurance fraud. Maybe I will get a aftermarket bumper.

By the way, anyone reading this that has ever done a hit and run, or damaged someone's car in a parking lot and not left a note, I hope you and your family rot in hell. I hope your favorite pet dies a slow horrible death. I hope your relatives get an incurable terminal nail fungus. I hope you go to the drive thru and the mess up your order real bad. I hope you win the lottery and have a heart attack over the excitement. I hope the candy machine swirly thing sticks and you cannot get your fvcking Snickers bar you fat fvck! I hope you get a BJ from a twenty dollar *****, only to find out its a man, and you like it, then you kill yourself instead of embarrassing your family because you are a fat, Snicker-eating, hell-bound, she-male ***** loving, drunk, criminal, fungus having, heart failing, no-pet having dumb mvther fvcker!!! I **** on your grave and then **** on all who go visit you on your birthday.

Besides that, I wish you all the best...

Thanks again guys. I was rolling through that spot today and I was peeking often at the rear view, its tough to not think about it. Audi, yours appears to me much worse, glad it all worked out for you. I am still suprised how well my rear held up, I will post some pics when I have a chance...
