Need help! Crack in windshield!

I was driving on the freeway last week when a pickup truck ran over a little rock & flung it straight into my windshield. It got chipped and now I have a crack in it. I need to get it repaired before it starts to umm...spiderweb?!? Anybody know a good place to have it repaired? I'm also looking for a paintless dent removal shop. Any help is appreciated thanks.

go to the web or phonebook and search around for windshield replacements/repairs...call around and see who can give you the lowest rate...they really want your business so they are very competitive...i say the windshield shouldnt cost you more than 200...

If its just a chip then you can have it repaired. I think as long as its smaller than the diameter of a quarter (including the legs etc, nothing can stick out beyond a quarter), then its repairable. Your insurance company should cover the cost of the repair with no impact on your policy. -check with them to be sure. I had to do this on my previous car.

Google around and you should find more info...

There are a ton of places that will come right to you to fix your windshield. Same goes for the paintless dent removal. Look in the phonebook.

jsut a questions in regards to windshield

someone came out and replaced my windshield, but my question is, the bottom corner of the windhsield where the glass meets the rubber/engine bay, is it supposed to be loose on the side? both sides are loose only at the bottom corner...is that normal or did they do a bad job of putting it back together...

thanks!
