What the difference in Horsepower between the Auto and Manual Trans?


How is that determined?

you lose HP at the wheel due to the torque converter.

Question
They state 298 Manual 280Hp Auto.

Unually car Manufactors state HP at the Flywheel?

Would't they be the same?

I missing something?

The 298 hp and 280 hp engines are different. Run a search for revup which is the term most commonly used to refer to the 298 hp engine that comes in 05-06 6mts.
