So here I am driving to work this morning southbond 405 somewhere before Sunset Blvd in rush hour stop and go traffic. I stop behind a truck and then I hear a bam and I go forward. After a split second I realize I've been rear ended. All 3 of us pull off to the shoulder and a Toyota pickup messed up my bumper and trunk. Luckily noone was injured...but I am pissed. The guy accepted blame and wasn't paying attention. Now I got to go through the claims process.

The momentum did push me into the truck in front of me but he just suffered some dings and scratches to his bumper and drove off. I'll post some pics of the damage if I have time.

So pissed!

yah man good thing no one was hurt.

 

I just saw my front bumper is messed up. The entire top carbon plastic cover where the hood hooks up is pushed up so the hood does'nt close properly after I opened it. And the radiator is bent. The exhaust or air intake is sounding more throatier, which is not normal.

At least nothing is leaking.

Now I just got to wait for the adjustor to contact me.

fvcking LA drivers. I swear, these drivers are worse than those M*******s in Boston. Sorry about your ride man. I've been rear ended on the 405 a couple of times so I know the feeling.

I got claims adjustor coming out tomorrow to take a look at the car. Sounds nice and friendly over the phone.

Anybody have an idea of a ballpark figure on replacing the front and rear bumper and a trunk hood?

 

damn i just saw your pixs...i know how you feel. i was driving this morning headed west bound on los feliz blvd. coming up to the edgemont light. this idiot in a mercedes sped by me earlier and crash at the intersection (los feliz & edgemont) as i was making my way around the accident scene *SLAM* this elderly lady hits my car. here are some pixs

 

Ouch. I'm sorry to hear and see those accidents. That's why we have insurance and no one got hurt other than feelings for our G's.
