That's great, but I would rather see the cars de-tuned and given to a church, Meals on Wheels or some other charity.

Street racing is for the ricers Its a pretty harsh penalty just for street racing. Just imagine that one time you decide to get a little competitive on the road you could get busted and lose your car

Agreed. Leave it to the cops to waste money. I would also be curious to see how many injuries and deaths there are from street racing in the area. Not condoning it, but it seems there are always better things for cops to do...

I had got a ticket for racing back in the day. Really wasn't worth everything I had to go through. Lost my license for a year, $1200 fine, $1300 impound fee (I lost my car for a month), insurance went through the roof, last but not least having to take the bus every morning at 4:45am to get to school on time. then bumming rides off people to get to work. Worst 30 days of my life.

I got busted by chino hills, my car was on camera. and for those of you that haven't seen a person die or dieing IN PERSON you really shouldn't make comments. I've seen cars cut in half 40 yards away from me, I've seen some girl in a civic T-Boned at 60mph cuz a blazer was racing some other car on the wrong side of the road. I cant stand cops just like the next guy, but thats what they are out there for, to bust people doing legal activities. and if they can prevent people from dying then hey more power to them...

But damn it sure was fun to race then see everyone scatter when they saw the red and blue lights coming. It was a sick and twisted rush.
