Does anyone know how to mod a Wii?

WiiKey and the CycloWiz v3 are the same. No difference except the CycloWiz requires an external switch for programming (reflash). If I were to do it again, I would get the WiiKey. No specific reason other than most people have the WiiKey, and it seems to be talked about more in terms of support.

Mods are not just for letting someone play burned CD's.

My modded Xbox is basically another computer; it lets me do whatever I want.

I have stored dozens of DVD's in there, ripped my games to the HDD, pictures, email, even read the news

I haven't even filled up 25% of the 320 GB drive I installed years ago

.

Can the "new" XBOX 360 Elite be modded? I saw "new" because I don't know if there are any internal changes or if it's just the fact that it's Black w/ HD calbes and Bigger HD.

its not illegal to mod your xbox 360 or wii. the mod lets you play the burned discs and also when you play games online it gives you that HUGE advantage over everyone else. the only thing about playing online, if enough people report you, u will get kicked off for a couple weeks or maybe for good! personally i dont like people that mod to cheat other gamers, but to each his own.

i read an article not too long ago..maybe about a week ago now... where the Japan Wii models have had the leads clipped on the IC to prevent moddin' using the current mod chips.
When, or, if it ever makes it to the US...I do not know.
