Does anyone know how to mod a Wii?
Does anyone know how to mod a Wii?
I'm picking up a Wii soon and don't feel like doing the soldering myself so I figure I would hit up the members here to see if anyone knows how or knows people who know how
I know of a person that can mod it for you in the Culver City area. I got my 360 modded and will be taking my Wii tonight if my GF gets to get one today for me.
let me know if you want to make the drive and I can give you his e-mail address so you can go from there.

yeah..i just did some research online. it let's u played burned games and games from japan. 2 types of chips...one has 5 wires u have to solder onto the board just like the old playstations, and the other is bascially a circuit board with a microchip on it and u don't need wires to solder. you just have to place it on ur wii board and solder the matching solder points directly onto the cpu.
