Jumped in my car this morning in Van Nuys @ 12pm and the temperature read 118 :0

I know thats not correct, but its damm hot. I kept jumping in and out of the pool. It took about 5 minutes to fully air dry each time, including my swim trunks.

DAMN - the pool hit 91 today...haven't used the heater at all in 2007, and had to over add water to get it to cool down a few degrees to make it worth the swim...
