If you buy the "kit", all you need is that because it comes with the module and the harness, hence "the kit". If you're pre-wired for SAT (which you said you are) that should be all you need. This means all you need is the two part numbers. If you have SAT, then you'll need the additional cable.

I only listed the part numbers because those are the REAL NISSAN part numbers. There is no such thing as a G35 iPod kit. The part number you see on Everything35.com is their own fabricated number.

The module comes with the iPod connector wire. This is the wire you'll likely run to your center console. The other wire is to plug into the prewired SAT harness in your trunk and the other end goes into the iPod module. I bought mine from Costa Mesa Infiniti, so when they gave me the boxes, there were two. One was the module and the other was the harness.

 

ok so wait, I really would like to purchase this but am still a lil confused on what parts exactly it is that I'm supposed to purchase. I have 2005 coupe that is SAT ready but does not have SAT installed. What exactly do i need?

ok its really really really simple go to g35parts.com get the ipod integration kit, you DONT need the extra cable IF you dont have sat radio, IF you do you will need it to play bot sat radio and your ipod.

the cable that hooks to your ipod WILL NOT reach to the center console from the trunk, IF you want it to reach the center console you will have to put it under the back seat, which is perfectly fine
