I just tried the Turf Club in San Diego (Golden Hill area) last week. I love that place. It's a dive bar with a big grill in the center. Get a juicy sirloin steak for $7.95 and cook it yourself to your liking. Then socialize with everyone else at the grill. You come out of that place smelling like a steak grill, but it's awesome and bang for buck, one of the best places in San Diego. Plus they don't hold back when they pour your alcohol!

on Carson between Western and Normandie. Best tacos I've ever eaten, I eat there on a weekly basis.

I noticed a couple people put down Manna for Korean BBQ in K-town.

I'm sure you all enjoy the All-you-can-eat & atmosphere at Manna.... but as for the meat quality... ehhh, it's okay, but you get what you pay for.

I stopped going there when we finished our meal, we had half a plate of meat left over... and instead of waiting for us to leave to put away the plate, the waitress takes it directly back to the kitchen, hands the dish to the person cutting up the meat, and I'm assuming re-used the meat for the next customer!

But hey, don't take my word for it. That's just what I saw.

If you like it and enjoy it there... it's all you. (^_^)
