Planning a vacation.

Hey guys,

Trying to choose a destination in California for a one week vacation with my 18 year old brother and i. I figured if anyone new the best places and attractions, it would be you guys.

what do you guys think is best to do in cali, how's the nite life (must be good), and do you think a car rental is mandatory to get anywhere? Just turned 25 so i kiss those <25 charges with car rentals. thank god

any advice would be good thanks!

I'm coming from Toronto btw.

You driving or flying?

So-Cal is pretty central...

Got... disneyland, knotts berry farm, south coast plaza, cars and coffee (weekly car meet), magic mountain, universal studios, beaches, etc....

Bars are out of the question, so nightlife in the beach cities is going to be non existant since your brother is under age. If you want theme parks and such, come orange county, if you want nice beaches and cleaner environment, go to San Diego, visit La Jolla, Coronado island, downtown is awesome, there are some 18+ clubs there. You can hop the border and go to Tijuana, however its gross as all hell. You have pacific beach which is fun for all ages even without the drinking on the beach anymore but there are chicks wide. If you come to orange county, huntington beach is a must, I would choose San Diego over any of the place though.
