1. Blown 20 pt lead
2. Kobe killing Bowen, Ginobli and Udoka in the second half
3. Odom having an off (wait till he turns it on)
4. Spurms inablity to close out a game (as they did with the Hornets)
5. Lakers are up 1-0 (3 games away from the finals, which is closer then the Spurms are right now.)

Lakers FTMFGDW!

now.

1.parker vs fisher - parker has a slight advantage over fisher, but not by much. Fisher is a great deffender and great shooter. but u cannot stop parker so i give the spurs an edge over that.

2. bowen/ginobli vs kobe - this is a no brainer. on offense, theres really nobody that can stop kobe from getting anywhere he wants to on the floor wether it be scoring or facilitating. also on the deffensive end, to gaurd bowen u really just have to stay buy the corner three and defend. and with ginobli u just take away his left which we did most of game 1.

3. duncan vs turiaf/gasol - at first i though it would be even as far as scoring and passing goes between these two. But i forgot how good of a player duncan was. I dont see a problem in going single coverage for tim duncan with gasol or turiaf mainly for the reason that if duncan scores 30 or so, big deal. as long as we shut down the other players which will continue doing. Phil jackson doesnt like to double and i doubt hes going to start now.

4. odom vs the rest of the spurs - you really have no one to gaurd odom, he can easily beat alberto off the dribble, and post up ginobli any day of the week. I expect for odom to be the x factor in this series for the lakers.

5. lakers bench vs spurs bench - not sure if ur counting ginobli as a bench player anymore since pop is starting him now, but the lakers bench scored 73 points at one point during a regular season game. they have continued to step up during the playoffs and they will continue. This is a huge factor because like every team, THE STARS need rest, and when our stars go to rest, our bench does a good job. expect this to get even more deep considering ariza is 100% cleared and is practicing with the lakers as we speak!

just my .02 on this. and yes i am a laker fan and those might be biased views, but they sure are facts.

so is this....PHIL JACKSON is 40-0 when winning the 1st game in the playoffs....tee hee

no more ghey jokes u douche.
#1 Parker has more than a slight advantage there.. simply because Fisher doesnt have the speed to compete...

#2 Bowen vs Kobe... Bowen is the best defender Kobe has ever gone against but i admit he cant stop him but he will slow him down... or leave him on his back again... (you should have known that was coming)\

#3 Like Kobe this year... Duncan isnt a selfish player, he will kick out and get other involved and Gasol and that dude with the cornrows cant stop him at all...

#4 Odom couldnt post up Udoka... he tried and realized that Udoka is stronger than him... but if Odom has a good game he will be dangerous... we just have to keep him out of his groove

#5 Your bench scored 73 against the Bulls... come on now... we arent the Bulls... and our bench can get hot too... no we havent scored 73 but you cant say we dont have a bench...

My views are biased... But in my honest opinion if Manu gets hot and Parker starts taking Fish to the hole the lakers are done... what is really gonna be a factor in this series is how well Odom and Gasol can play along with how well Manu and Parker play... Kobe and Duncan will get theirs regardless... we also have experience on our side thats something you cant teach...

1. yup we blew a 20 point lead...
2. Tim killed your big boys without breaking a sweat
3. Manu had an off night also... wont happen too often
4 Spurs still beat a team anyone would have troubles with
5. one game doesnt make a series... Fakers arent that big of a threat

one thing i don't understand is Parker/Ginobli do the same drive to the basket 90% of the time(to the right with the sweeping layup) and noone ever stops it, it drives me nuts. Niether can go to their left 99% of the time they will shoot with there right. I can't believe no team has really stoped that, its so predictable.

well Parker is fast as hell and Manu is so Unorthodox with his style... its kind of hard to stop... we just have to seriously figure out a way to keep Bowen out of foul trouble cuz Manu isnt going to be able to guard him... neither will Udoka

^well with Bowen guarding Kobe, he's gonna be in foul trouble every game. Bowen plays with his hands so much in defense and you can't do that against Kobe.

1 - like i said parker has a slight advantage because fisher can score as well as defend. u cant just blow by anyone, parker isnt that fast, hes not chris paul

2 - no one can slow kobe bryant down. he can score 40 at any given time. He is a TEAM player now, hense his 9 assists and only taking 2 shots in the first half of game 1. So please i dont want to hear that ball hog kobe bs shyt.

3 - like i said. duncan cannot kick out because we are NOT doubling him, so he needs to put up the shot. which we are fine with him doing.

4 - you're comparing odom to udoka? please come to ur senses. the spurs have no match for odom in any way possible. if u cannot admit that, then ur crazy.

5 - yes we scored 73 against the bulls. so what, it wasnt the heat. The fact is we can be deadly, we provide every single game. We are arguably is not THE best bench in the NBA.

Forget about ginobli taking fisher to the whole because fisher isnt gaurding him. Kobe is. We have the best fo both worlds, youth and experience. Lakers in 6 baby!

1. Parker is way faster than you think he cuts through defenders with ease... Fish cant defend him...

2. Bowen is the one player who drops Kobe's % that is a fact

3. Duncan was getting doubled in the 4th and anytime you do that its game over cuz we should well from beyond the arc

4. Odom tried to post up Udoka and it just wasnt happening... we can stop Odom if we dont he isnt very sound in his game yet anyways... he is sketchy kinda like Rice was for you guys back in the day.

5. Your bench isnt that great... there not bad but they arent great.

When i said for Manu to get hot i know Fish doesnt guard him... but him and Parker never really got hot... but once they do they will be a terror... We have the experience but you do have youth... You have 2 players with real exp... we have a team full of exp... and please dont forget the Hornets are a young team but they still fell... i say Spurs in 6
