Easy for you to say. You don't live in Socal. EVERYTHING here is spread out. Not to mention the amount of gas that you burn sitting in mad traffic. The average commute here is about 25-30 miles, which roughly equates to approximately 3 gallons of gas for a round trip commute to the job. That's near $15/day just to commute. God forbid you have to run errands or sit in traffic or anything like that.

looking at about 1.50/l (roughly 5.70$/gallon) for regular, haven't even bothered to check premium.

Well don't get me wrong...i shorted some of the airline companies and did well, but its the price at the pump that is distrubing me. It doesn't seem to change on an equal scale.

My brother has a Ford F-250 Super Duty. Lifted, long bed and huge tires. The last time I was with him when he filled up. At that time Diesel was about $4.50 or so a gallon. I saw him fill at the time it took about $145.00. Now at over $5.00 a gallon, I'm sure it would be closer or over $200.00 for a fill up. It takes about $77.00 to fill our van and about $60 - $70 for 15 gallons.

Talk to you all later,

Ray

Off topic from the above posts, I signed up for the metrolink for the month. To and from work (36 miles per day total) it will only be costing $35.00.

Why didn't I do this before? (I honestly thought it was much more).
