Insane gas prices!

I drive a Titan I just filled it up this morning with 87 octane at Sam's Club @ $4.12/gal = $98. I have to park this truck and take the Accord out of storage. What about you guys any horror stories on fill ups?

4.29 at costco here (for reg) and 4.45 avg for the rest of the gas stations in SGV, CA

There was a station in Arcadia that hit 4.99 this AM and I have had reports from team members of $5+ in Malibu (reg/self service).

If it makes you feel any better (or perhaps foreshadowing future prices)

As of Mrch, here's how it looks internationally:
Oslo , Norway $6.82
Hong Kong $6.25
London, UK $5.96
Tokyo, Japan $5.25

Relocation is also an option:

Riyadh , Saudi Arabia $0.91
Kuwait $0.78
Caracas , Venezuela $0.12

Paid $1.28.5 per liter today at my station -- X 3.78 per your gallon = $4.86 per gallon!

Oil spiked $11.00 a barrel (to $138. per barrel) today which they say will jack our price by at least 6 cents a liter tomorrow which converts to about $5.09 for your gallon!

It's getting beyond funny....

C.

Those countries also have good mass transit, so they have options. While here in the states, that doesn't exist.

What is funny is that the price of Gas hasn't changed all that much in the last three years in Japan, while here it is what double the price it was in 05!
I'm kind of glad about that though, as I'm returning to Japan and off base gas is much better than on-base. Can you say 100 Octane
