Smile Any Dyno Days Coming Up in So Cal?

I'd like to get my car dynoed for a nice, low price and meet other Z/G peeps at the same time. Anybody have plans for a dyno day of some sort? Any of the site sponsors or members here have a hook-up at a dyno shop willing to do this?

contact Shawn Church and see if he's up for it... he hasn’t had one in a while and he's real supportive of the G community... I think he charges $50 or $60 for 3 pulls.

TS isn’t going to dyno tune your car for $150 - unless you already have their flash installed - which is $600 I think (I used to have it, but I forgot how much I paid)...

Shawn is 75 or 80. He'll generally let you do as many pulls as you want if nobody is waiting

He has a LOT of baselines in his database, so you can get a really good comparison to other cars.

Don't need a dyno day, call in a place that tunes/or has a dyno and just pay for a few runs. Like other says, you can contact Shawn@Church if you want, they use Dynapacks though, and a few of you already know I haaate dynapacks haha but thats me, most don't care Good luck

He charged me 75$ for 3 pulls with AFR on non-dyno days.

Last time he had a dyno day I think he charged $50.

I was referring to dyno days - not solo... it's usually $50-$60 for 3 pulls...

I've done about 25-30 pulls on Shawns dyno - and they arent even the same on my car from day to day, so I wouldnt bother comparing numbers to others in his database.

you are correct, for raw tuning, but those are not the #s I'm looking for. Throwing it on dynojets and having it go 50hp under pisses me off already, then having to be explained to that its the actual power to the wheel while driving blah blah, so I rather just go for those #s, tack on 50hp to it if I wanted to know how much it would be on a dynapack ****s embarassing, throwing my car on a dynapack and it reads 353, then the dynojet reads 303 hahah, its like cheating! My opinion though, I respect everybody else's opinion, like i said most people don't care.

gain is gain. that's all that matters.

Remember, horsepower is just a number.

You can gain 25% horsepower, or lose 20% of your car's weight, and have the same effect on acceleration.

That C-West S2000 @ Redline Time Attack? only has 280 hp. At the flywheel. Except it weighs about 2250 lbs WITH driver and fluids.

^^ Nice and yes you have a point.

Maybe I should go throw my car on a dynapack it will probably make me feel better haha. With my current hp #s, I'm riding on them heavy a$$ 20s too
