Exhaust Sound Testing Site???

Wifey got a stopped by CHP for tinted windows and Modified exhaust.
Didn't give her the ticket cuz the car is registerd under my name.
He said he will be mailing the citation to me.

Bottom line, I don't believe my exhaust is louder than the legal limit of 95 Decibels. if anyone knows a place where they do exhaust sound testing in SOCAL
let me know ASAP. THANKS.

Got mine done at El Camino Jr. College. You have to call the state smog division or something of that sort to get an appointment. I did a few years back on my other car.

You may be over the limit with the straight pipes...A standard cat back without the straight pipes should be fine.

Testing sites....?

I was told Saturday that all the testing sites in Ca. were closed until further
notice. I was going to get a certification for my exhaust so I could shove it
up some cops backside for stopping me....now I'll have to wait until the budget is passed and the referees are back to work. Don't know how your
ticket will be resolved.

That was like 4 years ago and honestly cant remember the cost if any. I think a 15 dollar certification fee...I could be wrong! Good luck.
