Kudos to Infiniti of Santa Monica

Thanks to George Chen of Infiniti of Santa Monica for getting my fuel gauge problem fixed

I've had a fuel gauge problem for the past 5 months. I had taken my G into Infiniti of South Bay 4 separate times for this problem and they weren't able to diagnose and fix it even though I told the service writer that I thought it was a bad fuel sending unit. His response at one point was " are you trying to tell me how to do my job?" and then he proceeded to have my entire gauge cluster replaced. I would take the car in with 10 gallons in the tank and the gauge reading empty or with a full tank and the gauge reading 3/4 but the would just say that the consult says everything is fine .

Anyway, George listened to me, and got it fixed. This was my first experience at Infiniti of Santa Monica and I have nothing but good things to say about their service

i bet if you went to santa monica first they also would of changed out the guage first. since the other dealer already changed it, next solution was to change out the sending unit.

(just bored at work- felt like putting something down)

Santa Monica Infiniti....?

There was a thread just this last week how SMI screwed up a TPS system
and after he moved to Texas it took him weeks to get the issue resolved.
And then the Texas stealership destroyed one of his tires and refused to
admit there error. Dealerships are for warranty work only and even then
you're taking a chance....scarey huh?

I go to SMI all the time for service and usually ask for George. Actually he is a member on the forum and has a pretty nice looking white G coupe with turbos I believe.
