Fontana Nissan FTL

Stopped by Fontana Nissan on the way back from Highland today just to see how much they'd charge to reprogram my TPMS sensors. Service advisor told me $96. I asked him if he was crazy. He said "That's what everyone charges". "Reprogamming" consists of a 5-minute process with a Consult II. That's the equivalent of $1,200 an hour for labor. What a rip off! Last time I went to the Nissan dealer in Orange they charged my $40 and I thought that was high. Needless to say, even though they are close, I'm not going to Fontucky Nissan for any parts or service. What a clown! End rant...

I know a tech there PM me if you want me to ask him how much he'll charge to do it on his own time.

One of my friend used to work there that did my bbk install for $100, downiest guy ever. It's a shame he no longer works there though, he'd probably do it for $10.

Thanks man. I'd be willing to tip him $20-$25. I think that's fair for 5 minutes of his time. Let me know.

Sounds like Infiniti....!

Isn't that where the name STEALERSHIP came from? Next time you find yourself being
screwed ask this question: Do I have stupid written on my forehead?

They're aren't many things I'm forced to have done at the stealership but programming of the TPMS sensors is one of them since I don't have a Consult II/III at home.

Aaron, BBK was sold for $3,200.

Hit up Patrick (tech) at South Bay Infiniti. I can't give his prices, but let me just say he is by far the man on hooking it up for G35 drivers.
