-start rant-

you bust this guy's ***** for trying to lowball you and yet not even a week later you drop the price by over $2000.

https://g35driver.com/forums/lounge-...tomer-2-a.html

from $26994 to $24964, assuming this is the same car.

"Well.... I already have it priced cheaper than ANY comparable car around me. Our pricing strategy is a little bit different. We don't start with a super inflated price. We put the best price up front. With me here, we're a little more aware of the internet and the market in our area. I don't care what I own the car for, I'll always price my car so that it's ALWAYS the best price for any car that's comparable. You can't compare different years or cars with different equipment, but if you're doing an apples to apples comparison, I will always have the best price. Period."

"Well, I'm selling you the car for less than wholesale KBB."

sorry to be an a$$, but that is why consumers will always try to lowball, because we assume dealers always try to get the most profit (aka screwing them over).

-end rant-

I'm selling the car at a loss. If you stop by, I'll be more than happy to show you my internal accounting.

Oh, did you forget to check the internet link I included in that post, where I show that yes, it IS indeed the lowest priced car in the area? 100 mile radius to top it off. That covers ALL of southern California, from Los Angeles to San Diego.

Oh sure, there's 1 salvage title car there, and 1 with more miles. Mine is certifiable (sp?) with a 100k/72mo warranty through Infiniti.

Again, my price is ALWAYS changing to maintain that very lowest price status I proclaim to have. I'm sorry that a 2k drop in price was warranted to keep that position.

Any of you are welcome to come down and see my accounting screen...

These 3 are aged units that need to go. If I don't sell them at a loss now, I take a bigger hit when they get wholesaled.

Do none of you read anything I post other than the price? My car is ALWAYS priced to be the lowest, regardless of what I own it for.

I know, and the "Invoice" price is what the same as "dealer cost"

The Five Great Lies

1. "Of course I'll respect you in the morning..."

3. "No, I won't *** in your mouth..."

4. "The check is in the mail..."

5. "I'm taking a big loss on this car..."

Sorry, but you make this just too easy....

J/K, good luck selling them.

In reality side, as long as the prices are good enough and fair, then why not?? I always go with the saying "Everybody gotta eat" and expect that when buying things from a person selling that is on commission, i respect their position, as long as no one gets hustled hard, as long as the deal is fair enough, let the man eat.

On the other hand, I got my g37 lately from Mike and couldn't be happier, gave me the best service also, made buying my car eaaasy So again from a satisfied buyer and as a good friend, thanks Mike

I do see why people criticize things dealer says, I hate car dealers too, with a passion, especially Honda ones cause they try to sell you something that's not the worth the price. But not Mike, hes a good guy

I have NO Doubt that Mike is a great guy. He has proven that over and over here. I just couldn't resist the opportunity to give a little back.

99.99% of car buyers think All car salesmen are pond scum. I was in that pool also up till I bought my last two cars. They were from a "No Haggle" dealership. With the price out of the way, they didn't have to act like dicks and it was the best car buying experiance of my life.

However, there is NO WAY you will ever convince me that a dealer will EVER sell a car at "below cost". No matter how old it is.
