Officer is lying... got a red light ticket.

It was unsafe to brake and the light was yellow. Even my passenger said it was yellow. The officer said "from my vantage point it is red". I did not run a red light. I ran a yellow light simply because it was unsafe.

Should I contest the ticket? The problem is that my passenger is from out of state and being in court as a witness is out of the question.

Even thought you had a witness in your car who is your friend, will the judge look at it as like Friend , who will always take the side of Defendant (you)

you have a better chance hoping for the 5-0 to not show up.

Good luck.

Did the cop see YOUR light turn red or was he in the perpendicular lane and saw that his light turned green when you entered the intersection?

online traffic school youll be finished in less the 15 min. but youll have to wait the 4 hour period to take the final exam. the time continues to run down until you log off.
