quick tint question

I have a tan/willow interior and I don't like how my 35% on the front seems too light. I'm planning to tint my windshield, not too dark cuz i dun wanna attract attention from the popos, with my willow interior, what percentage should i get?

Windshield as in the front? I would be more concerned about your visibility at night rather than how it looks from the outside. You can't roll down your windshield lol. I have 20's all around and at times it's dark enough that I have to roll my windows down depending on outside lighting. I've thought about doing the windshield as well and decided if I were to do it, darkest I will do is 50 just to give it a little smoke look without impairing visibility too much. But if you're only concerned about how it looks, then dre is correct, 15 would be good on your light interior and 20 on black.

jesus 40% is dark haha, yeh im concerned about visibility at night so 15% and 20% will b too dark, im thinking about 50%. Is 50% a good choice in terms of looks, visibility, and no attraction to cops?

Oh, by the way, I dont think visibility is an issue with 20 or 15. I have 3 percent on the sides and I have big issues, but 3 vs. 20 is comparing black and white.

its illegal! hahaha!
also i see you live in IRVINE the cops over there will have a field day w/ your ride

if your gonna tint your windshield just get a light tint above 50
once its tinted the interior will be darker even if you dont change the sides and rear

Wait..so you're saying that you can see BETTER with darker tint?? Maybe during the day I might believe that but there's no way you can see better at night with darker tint.

OP: 50 is the way to go...any darker and you're asking for a lot of trouble. Unless you know people who can sign off tickets of course

Yes, I was busted in La Habra and he noticed. Thats the only time theyve noticed though. They check the incorrectable box and you have to see a judge. Lol. And yead, the fine was 150$

Dranom is right, go with 50%. And yeah, Irvine and Fullerton cops FTL! Theres been numerous times where there was a motorcycle cop in incoming traffic and he's going to the extent of actually flipping around to bust me

Yeah, I get this question alot and I tell everybody the same exact thing...The reason(I think) i have better visibility is because there is no glare from incoming headlights...besides that you cant even tell you have a tinted windsheild. 40 percent is fine.

Hopes this helps.
