I Need A New Dealer To Get Serviced At
I'm located in Arcadia and Metro Infiniti is minutes away from me, so it is very convenient for me. I'm wondering are there any GOOD dealership within a reasonable driving range from Arcadia?
I swear, Metro Infiniti is like flipping a coin when it comes to how good their service is. I have had a couple issues, but this past one was the worst and most disturbing of all.
First, the guy tells me my AC not working or coolant leaking could be due to my intake and it pinching some hoses...impossible, because it doesn't take a genius to realize it's not, since he had the hood open.
Then he goes onto say that these forums are pretty much full of crap and 99% of the problems mentioned here are not true. So I tell him about some of the common issues I've had, such as axle click, along with others having problems such as the head unit going out, etc..he says "well everybody knows about that." Honestly, they don't, what a douche.
Lastly, the guy tells me my AC belt is gone, nowhere to be found, but I gotta pay ~$250 to get one installed since it's not covered under warranty. Fine, I'll take it to my mechanic, but he goes on to tell me that "We see you have coolant leaking, but we don't see from where, so there car is fine." Are you ****ting me?! So I guess when I see smoke or steam, because of this, it's fine?!
He suggests I take it to Cerritos Infiniti where I purchased the vehicle since a week after I bought the car I noticed coolant leaking and they had replaced the radiator, and that Cerritos would do pressure testing, replacing the radiator if necessary, etc. What I don't get is that the vehicle is STILL under factory warranty, so shouldn't Metro be doing the pressure testing and any other work? Warranty is warranty and it doesn't state I have to get it specifically at one dealership.
Cliffs: Metro Infiniti = lame and horrible service today. Makes me not want to go there again. Need a reliable and another local dealership for service near Arcadia.
*EDIT: Guess I'll add one more, they didn't wash my car even though on the work order it stated it would get washed. Bastards!

Riverside Infiniti would be my first choice for sure, it's just the distance that is an issue for me. I got more info though. Got a call back from Cerritos and they stated I can take the vehicle to them or have Metro do what they are supposed to do. Figured I'd give Metro another shot since they're close and they tell me I need a radiator flush, pressure test, etc, but since it's a service then I will get charged for it. If something is wrong such as parts, they will replace.
It's so retarded, because they have to do tests to figure out what exactly is the problem, but I have to get shafted and pay for it? Not to mention, I think I lost my wallet in their waiting room and nobody has seen it. Ugh

I used to feel the same way when it came to getting my Z serviced, I had Redlands Nissan, San Bernardino Nissan, Empire Nissan in Ontario, Montclair, Fontana, Raceway in Mo Val, all of them way closer then Performance and West Covina, but I would still make the trip because I knew they would take care of me and the car the right way the first time around no questions asked. Even if it was a simple oil change, to warranty issues, they always had my business even if it meant driving an extra 45 min or longer because of traffic.
