My heart was broken on Vday (pics)

As i left my friends house from SG to get on valley to get to the bank, I was going straight and this man with a 1997 maxima decided he will gun it and make it to the middle lane as he was making a left. I tried to slam on my brakes, didnt make it on time. This was on valley before Del Mar as my driver fender, headlight and bumper clipped his rear left. That man didnt even know how to speak english. WOW so we drove to a street, I called the cops and He got a translator we traded information and the cops came, I explained everything to the cop and he said regardless if im going 100,90 I got the right away, he needs to yield always. He was claiming i was going fast and there was a car in front of him. What a day. My heart broke in pieces seein my girl like that =(. I was so excited for the infamous meet too coming up this week. Looks like I wont make it. Sorry G members. Anyone experience this before?
I have a few questions.
-Since we have the same insurance, u think they will declare a 50/50 fault cuz I would be pissed, I need and want him to pay full damamges at all cost
- Is this a very clear cut case, it is 100% his fault?

Anyone of a driver side 06 headlights with/ w.o ballast and bumper and fender, PM me so I can see how much for parts. Thanks
Anyone with experiences, opinions and thoughts to make my weekend go faster are welcome =(

Make sure you get a police report that states the other driver is 100% responsible, otherwise those misreable SOB's at your insurance will pin some responsibility on you and HIKE your premiums.
GET THE POLICE REPORT and send it to them!

+1..

if you're going thru insurance, why not just have a shop get ur parts. im sure ur gonna have to pay deductible....
ur insurance is gonna go up no matter what...unless different...

check your policy

sometimes, when u think its just that..its much more underneath...

i went thru the same thing last month....i hit a raccoon...thought i could just buy parts...ended up costing almost 2gs...with paint.labor...
so i said F it and forked out the deduct and went to town....

just a suggestion...

GL, glad ur ok and wasn't worse..

Man... no wonder Valley was a PITA last night. I saw cops ALL OVER Valley Blvd. I drove from Fremont all the way down to Rosemead and back. I didn't see any accidents though, but i know the traffic sucked REAL bad.

Why are you picking up used parts? The other party's insurance should cover you 100% on brand new parts from wherever you decide to get your car fixed. What insurance company?
