a very sad indeed. The drive to and from work just isn't the same. Hopefully Leykis will get picked up soon, maybe podcasts or something at the very least.

No, I'm not wrong. It's only commercial free for the debut of the first 10,000 songs that they play before they start running commercials. Quoted from their website, "We’re playing 10,000 songs in a row, COMMERCIAL FREE." It says commercial free for the first 10,000 songs that they play, not commercial free forever. How else would a radio station generate revenue if it weren't selling advertisements?

Yeah, last week I went to flip over to FM Talk and was WTF??? when I heard Lady GaGa booming out of my radio on 97.1.

So are they all off the air everywhere or are Adam and Tom still on other CBS stations, just not L.A.?

Tom, Adam, FHF, Conway, are all off the air for the time being. Tom is not doing anything ATM as far as broadcasting, Adam is currently podcasting, Conway WAS doing his show temporarily on 790 but was let go because he told a joke that KABC deemed unfit, and FHF is planning a listeners party fairly soon.

I hope it backfires on them... It maybe cheaper to play the songs than to pay the on air talent BUT - its not as if there aren't already several other stations playing the same stuff. I've found myself spending more time on the AM dial.

Corolla has some internet gig:
http://carollaradio.com/

Leykis - I'm bored with that guy (been listening to him since before he was on 97.1, still the same ol' ****)

FHF were okay to pass time on way to lunch...

I miss Corolla in the morning the most.

The suck-@ss crap music they are playing on that station makes me sick - actually it just makes me pissed-off angry and I end up wating to run someone over... what a waste .

I was a fan of that station for 3 years. It is sad that they are gone. I used to listen to them almost everyday at work from online streaming with my headphones on. It made my desk job more fun.
