my buddys GF and my cousin both live in the kerny mesa area and both have 240's and they both got pulled over 2 weeks ago and the girl had a rb20 and intake and exhaust ext... and my cousin had everything but a new motor and they both had pull everything off

Its all just a big joke... Nexthing you know even CARB approved stuff will be for off road use only.

But I will say... All the street racing is what made this hobby and sadly now that this scene has matured
Its being used to destroy it

You don't mean that Shane, have you forgotten all the other threads that deal with our member being pulled over and targeted in other states time after time. Street racing is illegal and Driver doesn't condone even posting such action. I still love Ca., even with out higher taxes and double license fees....

This is a revenue generator and with a bit of a public safety issue. If you guys are so worried about being pulled over and ticketed, it would help if you carried the manufacturer's documentation that your mods are street legal...

Manufacturer's documentation means nothing to the state. If anything, know the laws well, have the CARB numbers, or better yet, visit the state ref to get documentation from them... too bad there's only one way to get to visit them...

if your worried about getting screwed by the state than dont mod your junk. its that easy if you can afford to mod the crap out of your car than you can afford to pay the fines that go along with that
