Oh sh*t. "All the driver has to do is push these buttons which turn on gauges making it a street race-mobile"
"Intake manifold brings in more air and exhaust into the car and makes it not street safe"

i wish i had gauges that turned my regular car into a street racing mobile ....i like how they reference the jaguar crash from sd who was racing a bmw, and make note of other crashes that have been happening which i could only assume they were talking about the other high profile newport crash that involved a ferrari and a porsche.....yet the 600k is being used to train officers how to spot integs and im assuming all modified japanese cars

Why don't they just send Paul Walker to find the real street racers?

Just more b*&%$it the truth is all they are expecting with theyre investment of 600k is to account for more revenue in this bad economy which in turn is trying to find another way to screw us people will race regardless of what they do its been going on since B.C with chariot races/Horse races etc they dont get it everyone will always want a better faster machine they wont get the point across by crushing cars hell they wont get their point across period lol

The crackdown is happening in Chula Vista. SD people should only worry about the county wide training on spotting modified cars.

Because he's gonna fall in love with a truck robbing street racer's sister and let the perps go...

Didn't you watch the movie?

all this stuff makes me laugh. these cops that are getting training still dont know a damn thing about cars. they know to look for intake and exhaust. i guarantee they cant spot a plenum spacer or upper plenum like the crawford. i had to pop my hood for a cop and he started freaking out about my pop charger i just laughed at hime like hes an idiot and pointed to the carb number thats stamped right on the top and he got all butt hurt and walked away.
