Metro Infiniti. . . good?
Anybody gone to Metro Infiniti to get their G serviced? I've always went to Tustin, but Metro is more convenient. How's their service? Praise or complaints welcome.

Re: Metro Infiniti. . . good?
I don't know about your experience with Henri Shu, but he was NOT too informative when I shopped for my G last year. I knew more about the car then he did, which discouraged me from going there ever again.
But this time, I'm giving a chance for their Service Department. . . are they good? Anybody?

Re: Metro Infiniti. . . good?
I bought my infiniti there as well. Just recently took my car for servicing (did the switch to synthetic). They had a stillen G35 that was for sale. They are now considered "a stillen retailer." so whatever you buy from Stillen or on their web site, they can now install...but you know it's gonna cost $$$ for labor. Well I don't have anything drastic on my car, but I consider them a mod friendly dealership.
Re: Metro Infiniti. . . good?
I've had my oil changed and a couple of tsb's taken care of at Metro. Good service, but nothing special.
Henry is internet sales, so don't ask for him for service.

Also bought my car there, they don't mind the mods. Great service, even better waiting room with the plasma. That stillen car is such a rip off. I asked what it consisted of and all it was were bolt ons such as Injen CAI, grounding kit, UR pulleys and Stillen exhaust and the price was outrageous at something like 300% over what it was worth.

Re: Metro Infiniti. . . good?
They have been good to me... Monrovia Metro... Steve in service has been good, Henry V. in sales has been great too, they gave quick service and a good loaner. I took my sedan there for a complain of a "creak" in the window, they replaced the power mechanism and refilled my AC. Pretty Good Service.
Re: Metro Infiniti. . . good?
I didn't get my car there, but use their service all the time. Nothing special. They never gone the extra miles for me, just do what they suppose to do. They never done anything wrong either, so I keep going there. Well, actually they did wash my car once, even after I told them not to...maybe some people consider this an extra mile...lol. I was a little upset about it, they put this stuff all over my tires (some people call it tire dressing). This stuff flings all over my fenders also made my wheels all sticky. I had to spent some extra time washing it since all the brake dust now cacked in on the wheels, so I actually had to really use some elbow grease to take that stuff off. No bigie, just nit pick. The next time I went there, I made sure that they don't wash it. Told the guy to put it in big letter 'NO WASH'. It worked.

Re: Metro Infiniti. . . good?
Oh man
I would never think that ther ewould be so many positive reviews of that dealerships. They are the absolute WORST of ALL the dealerships I have been to for service, and fox, that's saying someting.
First of all, never deal with that by-the-book a-hole David. He seems/looks like the nicest guy, but he wanted to charge me $165 to see what my check engine light was and to retard the timing back to normal. Takes 20-30seconds - I swear. I told him this, and he said, point blank, "it is $165 to do that".
On another occasion, I took the car in for a brake inspection, and he said that because i painted my calipers, the warranty on the brakes/pads is void. I was stunned at the stupidity, to the point when i was certain that any argument would have been pointless.
Another time (yeah i know - i should have learned my lesson by now), I went there just to ask what they would charge for a 30,000 mile service ($495 - but that's beside the point), one of the salesmen was standing outside as i drove up, probably noticing the car's high exhaust note. All aside, he sees that painted the side valences, looks at me as I am passing by to enter the building, and says: "You know, b/c you painted the sides there, that devalues your car 20%". I almost lost it here, and won't tell you what i said - but he deserve it.
Overall, the stupidity that I personally encountered is amazing.
The ONLY place that I would take my car for serious work is Niello Infiniti in Concord (while I am in school Sept-June) and the only person that I trust to work on it is Vince (a member here: InfinitiTech). He is bar none top notch.
Otherwise, in SoCal, I know two people at Glendale Infiniti, one is the parts guy and the other a good service advisor. GO and ask for Sam, tell him I sent you. They are noth pretty good. Their Service manager Manny is new and does not seem to be a nice guy from my interactions with him. Just deal with Sam.

I know what you mean about the NO WASH thing. My cars are usually prettty clean. I don't understand why some dealers want to wash perfectly clean car, especially after you specifically tell them not to. This happened to me once when I spent ALL DAY detailing my car. I brought it to the dealer the next day and I told them DO NOT WASH. Well, they gave me the car back with water spots all over it. I was sooooo pissed. They spent the next 3 hours re-detailing my car. I always make sure to tell the service guy to write NO WASH in big letters. Even then, Metro almost washed my clean car. I had to go to the back and tell them to take my car out of the wash myself.

I know what you mean about that straight-laced David at Metro. He's a dumbass. He couldn't even dial my home phone # correctly to let me know my car was done. He dialed the wrong number (even though he wrote it down correctly) then gave up. He then called my work (I did not give him my work # so I don't know how he got it) and left a message on my cell phone (I don't get cell signal at home). I didn't get the message until 6 hours later. To top it off, I brought the car in for the rear deck rattle TSB. He had never heard of it!!!!!!! He just had the tech try to figure out the rattle on his own. I told him a TSB already existed but he did not want to look it up. They just instlled some cheap foam pads and called it quits. I got the car back and it still had the rattle. Had to bring it back again. After "fixing" it a second time, the rattle is still there.
The staff is pretty stupid. The salesmen don't know $hit about the cars. All they know is how to overcharge people. They have a $48,000 G35 coupe with waaaayy overpriced Stillen upgrades. They salesguy didn't know anything about the Stillen upgrades. I ordered my driver's side keyhole cover in Ivory Pearl from the parts dept. Of course, I had to supply the part#. When it arrived, the parts guy told me that it needed to be painted. What a newbie.
