Just kinda poped into our head, we were throwing a few names around, while trying to be catchy yet original and not be totally random with a name. So yeah one of the members just threw it out there and it stuck!!!

I'm down to start a new socal crew! Gundum!? How about Team Intial D or Cowboy bebop, when I saw Gundum i thought of all the cartoons that came out that night on Adult Swim, Gundum would be cool though I have quite a few of those scale models idk what happen to them, I think my nephew destroyed them all
anything with the name "jdm" in it will pigeon-hole the team to only jdm-style cars. I'd love a nice variety in the team, just no ricers.
Team Gundam is the best one so far...
Y's it so hard to figure out a clever name?

Team Macross

Just pointing out having a "JDM" team with out w/o having JDM style cars just wouldn't make sense!
I understand it was s company name which led to the start of the team. Just people who don't know that are more than likely gonna scratch their head when they see the name then see the cars.
Trust me not trying to bring the team into anything, there's nothing to be brought into!
Just an observation!!! You know i'm good friends with every rarejdm member, never try and start anything!!!
