its legal, just use a pressure washer saves more water. LB its illegal as long as you have a water saver system like a pressure washer your fine

I'm pretty sure they are confirming "authorization" because of recent water conservation regs implemented. As far as I know only the actual "city" of Los Angeles has set guidelines for water usage - and "technically" you can be fined for excessive use (welcome to CA OP).

many cities will (and have) given warning to businesses for excessive water use (even thought the biz is paying for it)... One of the shops we (as in you and me) endorse is dealing with it.

What pisses me off is seeing city owned property (center medians, fwy on & off ramps, etc) with sprinklers on during the day! Granted it doesn’t happen very often anymore - but absolutely was happening when the same cities were sending warning to business'

Anyway - save water, drink beer! (or at least dilute your water with Scotch)

We have a water conservation warning in effect next door in La Palma which means we just need to "limit" our water usage. BTW ... welcome to the neighborhood and hope to see you at the local meets.
