Hey g35lin, nice ride and good food...

Well, low and behold, tonight I saw g35lin's car parked right in front of my favorite restaurant - The Curry House - in my own backyard of Torrance. Strangely though, it was my wife who noticed your car first!

Anyway, I don't know you in person, so I couldn't say hi to you. But the Curry House is my favorite restaurant [typically I eat there once every couple of weeks], so perhaps we will eventually bump into each other again. I love the chicken katsu curry there, try it out if you haven't already! See you around...

Ed, you bet, we should meet up sometime. Typically, I'm busy during the week though [like this coming week I'm jammed], but we'll work something out. I'll PM you about it... Any other Torrance / South Bay guys around?

IVORY_G, it is always good to hear of a new Curry House opening up! I'll have to keep that location in mind when I'm out in that area. Thanks for the info...

No prob jstwong. That was why I posted the info. I am from Roland Heights, so when the craving occurs, J-town was the nearest one. I had this feeling that alot of people also enjoy it, only now there is another location to choose from.

I'm sure that there are a lot of people who like Curry House - or so it seems from the long lines at lunch and dinner times that I've encountered in Torrance, Gardena and J-Town. I went to college at USC, so I used to eat at Curry House in J-Town at least once a week! Most of my friends thought I was obsessed, but I never ate there alone, so at least one of them was there with me!

Curry house is good, but i'm disappointed that the J-Town one doesn't have menchi curry (katsu with ground beef inside). For some reason the one in Gardena taste better.

Hmmm... I didn't even realize that the J-Town Curry House doesn't offer menchi curry - though I've only tried it once before, so it is not a dish that I look for. Have you tried the Torrance Curry House? Personally, I like the curry taste the best there. Or perhaps I'm just most used to it now...
