Unhappy Front Plate Mount...

Hey guys . So yeah..... I got pulled over for tinted windows and no front plate, my windows were like 1/4th of the way up and the officer didn't see the front of my car until I pulled over, lol. Now I have to show up at court next Wednesday with both of those fixed. I'll get the tint removed on Tuesday, but I have a problem with the front license plate.

I plan on doing the front plate mount fix, so I won't have to drill any holes, also because I don't plan on keeping it on..... But, I bought my car used a couple months ago and can't remember if it even came with the front mount to hold the license plate. Now, I'm not talking about the bracket that attaches to the bumper, but the actual mount that holds the plate.

If anyone local or relatively close to Corona can lend or sell me theirs, I'd be very grateful, I just need it for that one day, thanks .

I forget where exactly the thread is, but this specific thread contains a DIY on how to put on a plate temporarily with binder clips in the tow hook area. Look for it, especially if you can't find someone who will lend you his/her front plate mount.

*EDIT* Here it is: https://g35driver.com/forums/body-in...es-needed.html

Yeah that's the thread I was gonna follow, but my problem is I don't have the frame that's holds the plate itself, in picture #5, it didn't come with my car.

I'm not sure if it'll ship in time if I order it, and I was trying to avoid spending like $80 for a mount i'm only gonna use once (hopefully), lol. I'll try calling riverside infiniti and see if they sell the part i'm missing. Thanks guys

When I first installed the Stillen mount it would rotate, after using some threadlocker, its nice and secure now. Just a suggestion.
