Hello guys and girls, my girl and I will be visiting the Huntington Beach area from Friday to Monday 8/7-8/10 for a wedding. Never been to Cali, but we are super anxious since we always wanted to go. Any places the locals would recommend? Also, if there is a G meet during those days please let me know, so we can check out those sick as* rides you guys drive on the west coast.

 

Saturday - 7am-9am - Cars and Coffee, Irvine (about 30 minutes south of HB). You really want to go to it.

 

lol don't go to a G meet. or cars and coffee... you're better off going to sharkeez.

 

wo0 h0o! I live in HB! Yeah go to Sharkys at night and get your drink on. Check out the beach during the day especially since it's during the summer. Alot of great food near by too. Were you planning to stay in HB only? There's a G meet on the 13th if you decide to stay longer.

 

Head up PCH and go to Venice beach for a few hours and check it out. Not that HB sucks or anything. Venice is maybe like a 1/2 hour away on the street. GL.

 

Some new club that is suppose be poppin called Flight on Beach & Adams, I heard its cool, you can check that out

If you wanna see something different take a stroll to westminster down Bolsa Ave. hahah

 

def go to IN-N-OUT and get a double double meal with animal stye fries (#1).

drive down to SD and get a CALI or CARNE ASADA BURRITO.

Thanks guys for all the suggestions, so many places to see there in so little time. Car and coffee sounds cool by the time is a killer especially since we are just getting there the day before. Now about sharkeez or Sharkys, which one is it? And is this like a sport bar grill like to get drunk and check out hotties? We'll be staying in the Best Western by the New Port Pier; we would like to definitely checkout Venice Beach too and hopefully the Santa Monica Pier (if not too far) since we always see them in movies and tv. The PCH is also a must since I heard is one of the nicest roads to drive on the US (I just wish I was driving it on the G and not a Jeep)
Just out of curiosity is Hollywood Blvd far, and worth visiting?
