i know for sure they have those at the asian garden mall in little saigon...but try china town first.

There's a store in chinatown just right off the 110fwy north (stadium way/chinatown exit) that sells those and other statues. You might not notice them, they'll be on the left right when you get off the fwy.

They're like right in a corner of this one street... They should have their stuff out too once you see it you'll know it's them. But other than that hopefully they're still out there. It's been a while for me.

^ gotcha, i'll definitely keep an eye out for em' unless i decided to be daring and just go to san francisco chinatown haha

anybody got any other asian areas i should check out in LA?

Chinatown and Little Tokyo are practically catered towards tourists now these days. Real Asian areas: San Gabriel, Alhambra, Monterey Park, Rowland Heights, Torrance, Gardena, LA K-town.

Gardena is mainly Japanese..isn't it?

Most of the rest are Japanese.

Yea Torrance and Gardena is more like Japanese than little tokyo..LOL
