Holy Cow! I know I've burned nearly 1 quart in 3700 miles ... which is considered normal. I've been hearing about many cars burning lots of oil ... one dude blew one of his piston and busted a hole on the side of his block due to less than 1 quart of oil remaining in his engine, which was at about 7500 miles before the last oil service.

Good Luck and hope there was no damage. I'm glad I started to do my own oil change and found a way to actually read the dip stick.

I'm from NorCal, but is it ok if I go with you guys? I know it's getting pretty full. I was having detonation issues at the NorCal dyno day and I want to see if it gets any better now that I'm using 76 gasoline instead of Chevron.

Plus, I can hit Technosquare on Monday if I run into trouble at this meet. If you'll have me, I can be a 100% certain to attend guy.

Clint, I can make a photocopy of my dynojet readings if I head down there to dyno with you guys.

wassup clint,

i worked on organizing the Nor Cal dyno day.

I had people send me $15 deposits to motivate them to show up. we had a really good turn out and not a single person flaked on us

i don't know if So Cal folks have problems with people flaking last minute, but you might consider taking deposits to ensure everyone shows up. after all, the dyno day is usually dependent on a minimum number of people showing up.
