anyone in socal wanna do springmount together?

planning on dropping my rear about another inch or so. i read the diy on how to do it, and i think i got it. i just dont know how to take off the rear springs-_____-. and i know it super easy so i wanna give it a shot. anyone else interested in doing this and wanna work on it together? or u can do mine while i paint your headlights lol

heres a pic of my rear right now,

If you can paint headlights, you can cut these springmounts.

lol, i know i can do it. like i said, i just dont know how to remove the spring. or have a spring compressor. /: btw sephiroth, mind sending me some pics of the last meet when u get a chance?

you dont need a spring compressor for the rear. all you need is a jack, jack stand, 17mm wrench and 17mm socket, ratched.

jack the car up.
take the tire of
undo the 17mm bolt on the rear arm.
let the arm drop down
pull the spring out.
pull the top spring mount out.
do the mod

to install do all that in reverse.
i just lowered the rear of my g on saturday in about 25 minutes. its easy. you will have no problems

no spring compressor.

when you jack the arm up (with spring correctly seated) it will compress the spring enough to put the arm bolt back on.

lol dont loosen the toe bolt to get the arm to drop, i ****ed up my alignment real bad lmao. but got it fixed anyways =D
