Starting Coupe Engine

Has anyone experienced a hard time cranking up their coupe while the engine is warm. Every once in a while i have to crank the engine twice before it starts. Anyone experienced this? or am i just cranking it incorrectly.

Re: Starting Coupe Engine

No such problem even in this 107 degree weather we are having. Question.....how do you crank an engine incorrectly?

Re: Starting Coupe Engine

i too seem to have the symtom your describing(sedan)..........after i drop off my daugher at daycare(5 minute journey), car would start right up and just dies.........start again and same thing..........on third attempt, i would kinda have to apply throttle a tiny bit to keep engine from shutting down, then it's ok.........normally happens in mornings............inputs, comments please..........

Re: Starting Coupe Engine

Yup,
Exactly....those are the exact symptoms. I don't know what the hell is causing that. I thought it was just me not cranking it long enough till it grabs.
Yes, i find that i have to press the gas a lil' to get it started....That's not normal is it?
