I'm trying to organize a little "club" outting to the JGTC races at California Speedway Dec. 18/19th.

For those of you who don't know what JGTC is, it's Japan's #1 race series (kinda like how NASCAR is for the US). It's MUCH more exciting than NASCAR, since it features crazy cars from all of the top Japanese and some European manufacturers. They are having a special "club event", where if you sign up with at least 20 people as part of a "club", you get a special package.

Admission to the races for both days, special VIP club parking, 20x20 tent for club members to chill under, free T-shirt, plus a "Fan Lap" (you bring your own car out for one lap around California Speedway). All for just $65, which is only a little more than the regular door admission.

Many clubs and crews have signed up already, and I'd like to get the fellow SoCal G35/350Z owners out there too. Please post here if you'd like to go for sure. We must pre-pay for the event to reserve a spot.

All clubs must be registered and paid in full by 10.31.04

I talked to the guy at JGTC and he said that the sooner we get in payment, the better parking spots we get. A buncha clubs/crews have signed up already, so I'd like to get a core group of 20 people registered to claim our spot. More people can be added later.

We can write separate checks, but they must be sent together.

I'm a definite. Was planning to join the Z guys down in So Cal, but if we can get 20, I'll roll with you guys. I know of at least one other G from Nor Cal will be going.

So this is how it will work. For those of you who are confirmed to go, please Email me your screen name, full time, car type. I will add you to the master list and reply with my address. Please send me a check for $65. I will collect all the checks, and when we have 20, I will send them all together to JGTC. When they receive payment, we should be officially registered.

I don't know who the checks should be written out to yet, I've left voicemail and sent Email to the main contact at JGTC. When he replies, I will let you know who the check should be written out to.
