G35 Sedan vs. Horse

No not a race...head on! The details are still sketchy but my sister-in-law went out a bought the exact same IP 04 sedan I have two months ago. Last night she hit a horse on the 605 that got out of its carraige some how. She hit the horse and 4 other cars crashed too. She was the only one hurt. Thankfully not to serously, but I don't know for sure yet cause we have not gotten all the details yet.

The car is no longer drivable and the horse was euthanised. I'll post when I know more.

Do you hear me?

Re: G35 Sedan vs. Horse

That is what I was thinking - how did a horse get out on the freeway? Did it fall out of its trailer? Just curious about the details as I have not heard of something like that on the LA freeway system before.

Re: G35 Sedan vs. Horse

I saw this on the news this morning. Apparently the trailer pulled over because the horse was moving around. When he stopped the horse somehow got out of the trailer.

dang, I've only seen purple monkeys riding giraffed sized camels on the 57 after working 72hours straight in the office on a steady diet of diet coke and bad pizza.

IT folks'll understand.

Cheers, ted

Re: G35 Sedan vs. Horse

Thanks for all the well wishes.

Here is what I got from her this weekend. The horse got out of its trailer at the side of the road and bolted into traffic. She hit it first it landed on top of her car crushing the roof ($15K damage) then she got rearended the horse came off the car running back into traffic then got hit by a van, totaling the van. Then the horse had to be put to sleep. She has some back pain but over all she's ok but very sad for the horse.

Being the business man I am, I quickly retrived the body of the horse and sold it to Micky D's. ;-)

Do you hear me?

Re: G35 Sedan vs. Horse

Sounds like a surreal type of an event. I know that I would be stunned to suddenly see a horse running out in front of me on the freeway. Good to hear that your sister was not severally injured.
