I need someone experienced with wiring & soldering..

Hey guys, I fried a relay from probing my BCM and my driver door won't lock anymore. I was wondering if there was anyone here local that could help me replace the relay for not too much. I would do it myself but I don't trust myself with a soldering gun and I'm not too familiar with the BCM.

It shouldn't be too hard to replace the relay on the circuit board.

I can take care of that for ya. To verify that it is a relay, both door lock actuators are not working right?
If one actuator is working and the other is not, your relays are fine.

If the actuator is bad, I've hooked up a few members with universal door lock actuators:

I do soldering too. But I will investigate what is and isn't working in the door locking system. I'm up in Torrance on Hawthorne.

Sounds good! All the doors UNLOCK just fine, but when I press the lock button it will lock all my doors except the driver. I have a Matrix 50.5x Two-Way Pager and I accidently sent a 12volt to a wire that caused my driver door to stop locking. ( I forget what wire, I was trying to find the lock/unlock wire only to find out that it was because I didn't set up my alarm to send two pulses LOL. ) I hate working with cramped spaces.

Unless someone in the forums will be kind enough to lend me there BCM for 2 seconds to find out if it is my BCM lol rather then my actuator.

All you gotta do is get to the purple and blue door lock wires behind the speaker and stab them with a hot wire tester and lock/unlock the doors. If it lights up, your BCM is good and the actuator died. Both positive and ground should be tested as the 2 wires alternate depending on lock or unlock.

If it's the actuator, I have a cheap fix for you. If it's the BCM, I'd recommend replacing it. Since the other doors work (sedan?) I don't think it is the BCM.
