Re: ***DVD to NAV $699 Installed

Hey remami... any pics? I'm curious as to how the DVD player sits in the trunk, and how the interior looks and all that

And if we choose the PS2 option for 599 I am presuming if we provide our own PS2... where it would sit in the car?

Thanks!

If you have some 19s that you want to sell... let me know

Re: ***DVD to NAV $699 Installed

The dvd player has a remote and a remote eye so you can operate the dvd player from the cabin and last screen memory so you don't have to search for your spot in the movie everytime you turn off the car. Its a nice slim slot load unit less than a single din sized radio just alittle deeper. Sorry I don't have any pictures but the dvd player will be mounted under the rear deck in the trunk thats the only parts you will see, so there really is not that much to gain from a photo.

If you are interested in getting in on this deal, call Josh at Sound Advice at 949-364-6464. He will take a $100 deposit from everyone who is interested and place an order by the end of the week. He should have the units the following week and you can schedule the install with him.

Thanks,

Rudy

Re: ***DVD to NAV $699 Installed

Sorry for this probably stupid question but... Is this for those who have the stock NAV, and want to mod it to allow it to play DVD's as well, or is this a complete NAV system that has a mod to also allow it to play DVD's as well.

For what it's worth, I have the stock nav...

I don't think the NAV-TV or AV Electronic Pieces have a surround sound processor. I would be very supprised if they did.

Re: ***DVD to NAV $699 Installed

Does Nav with TV converter mean it just needs an antenna hooked up to get TV reception?

JKDman,

Yes you can have the option of adding a reverse cam with a video switcher and relay we could have triggered when you put the car in reverse or a switch if you want it on while driving. There's options, we can make it work.

Gfly,

No, the name may be misleading. It is to be able to watch DVDs on you stock nav screen. But you can upgrade to a DVD player that has a TV tuner built in so you can watch on air TV but in a moving car reception always sucks.

jimthegreek02,

It can happen as soon as you want it (actually Friday). Call Josh at the shop to place your order. 949-364-6464

Thanks,

Rudy
